The Aston Martin DB11 is now in Malaysia

Yesterday, Aston Martin and Wearnes welcomed guests to their brand new Kuala Lumpur showroom in the heart of KL. Located on the ground floor of Etiqa Twins, it is surrounded by some of our capital city’s landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers and the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. The gallery-style space boasts plenty of natural light and an elegant interior, complete with a dedicated customer lounge and private rooms where customers can sit down and tailor their new car through the Q by Aston Martin personalisation service.

Here at the new showroom, we were treated to the unveiling of Aston Martin’s first car launched under the marque’s ‘Second Century’ plan—the DB11. The most powerful, efficient and dynamically gifted DB model yet, the DB11 sports a lighter, stronger and more space efficient bonded aluminium built. Aesthetics wise, it is a sleek, aerodynamic successor of the DB10 developed specifically for James Bond, with a front-hinging clamshell bonnet, distinctive LED headlights and accentuated lines of the iconic Aston Martin grille.

Armed with a new in-house designed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, the Aston Martin DB11 is capable of delivering a top speed of 322km/h and a 0-100km/h time of just 3.9 seconds. It has multiple dynamic modes—GT, Sport and Sport Plus—for the driver to select from, with an 8-speed automatic ZF transmission and new electric power steering. The intelligent bank activation and stop-start technology promotes improved efficiency. Is it any wonder that there is already a waiting list for this beauty?

The on-the-road price for the Aston Martin DB11 starts from “around RM2 million”. For more information, visit Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur.
