A few weeks ago, people were jumping on the White Rabbit ice cream trend after seeing a shop in L.A sell it. Here, popular ice cream maker Inside Scoop and Waka Waka Gelato attempted to create their version of it. As for boba or bubble tea, it’s been months (maybe even years), and it looks like it’s not going to die down anytime soon—especially judging by the long queues in Subang Jaya.
Now, Muse Eatery, a cafe in PJ, and Yumcha, a tea bar in Bandar Sunway, have collaborated to join the two food trends to create a White Rabbit Milk Tea. (We last featured Muse Eatery in our #BuroEats: 7 New cafes in KL to visit for January 2019.)
Unveiled on both eateries’ Instagram and Facebook pages, the concoction is accompanied by not just any typical boba or pearls. They’ve added butterfly pea boba. We’re guessing the inspiration is from the sweet’s wrapper. Available from 23 March onwards at Muse Eatery, there’s no word if their White Rabbit Milk Tea with Butterfly Pea Boba is a permanent addition to the menu so perhaps, it’s best to try it soon.
