Being surrounded by shades of pink in October has become a norm for most. In support of breast cancer awareness, these establishments have not only curated a menu in beautiful pink hues, but have also collaborated with multiple organisations to raise awareness and funds for the cause.

Savour a delicious tea time treat with a breathtaking view on the 40th floor of Element Kuala Lumpur at Trace. In conjunction with Pinktober, the culinary team, led by Executive Chef Taib Ridhwan and Sous Chef Hasrul Hawari, have curated a tea set that features six savoury delicacies and five rose-tinted sweet treats that are pleasing to the eye and the tastebuds. Some highlights from the tea set include blinis with raspberry cream cheese and rose infused caviar, BBQ pulled beef short ribs tortilla wrap, rose panna cotta with strawberry cream cheese, and pink-coated red velvet popsicle.

Spend an indulgent and meaningful afternoon at the Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur. Throughout the month of October, The Lounge is offering a special Pretty-in-Pink October Afternoon Tea that will take you on a delightful journey with rosy hues.
The meticulously crafted set features six sweet and five savoury treats to raise breast cancer awareness. The sweeter side includes Coco, composed of roasted coconut sponge with a burst of strawberry jelly and coconut mousse; Earl Grey and Berry, a melange of juicy forest fruits, silken chocolate mousse and tea-flavoured cake; Pretty-in-Pink Macaron that’s infused with rich cherry compote and delicate elderflower cream; and a variety of scones that’s served with clotted cream, rhubarb-strawberry jam, and rosewater-butter.
On the other hand, the savoury treats include Pink Salmon Brioche, which has salmon gunkan, nori powder, and sakura denbu; Pickled Egg Salad with ikura caviar, pink flower petals and pickled quail eggs, served with hearty peppercorn bread; and the Beef De Cecina Leon, which has thin beef slices with horseradish root and Manchego cheese. Each table will also get to taste pass-around treats such as cotton candy mocktails, madeleine strawberries and praline financier cake.

This year, the hotel is collaborating with Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) for the third year—where a portion of these proceeds will be donated to.

From now until October, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur has joined hands with Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) to raise awareness of breast cancer and its initiatives through a Pink Afternoon Tea. Curated by Chef Kevin Pannier, the afternoon high tea set consists of a captivating menu of pink-hued pastries, sandwiches and scones. Enjoy a splash of pink by award-winning chefs at the Afternoon Tea by Sala @ 33 at Sheraton Petaling Jaya. In support of the fight against breast cancer, RM5 from each afternoon tea set will be donated to Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA).
