As one of the most highly anticipated openings in the local fine dining scene, Yellow Fin Horse needs no introduction to fans of culinary maestro Jun Wong’s cooking since her previous stint at the helm of Kikubari. Nestled on the fourth floor of the design-forward Else hotel, the contemporary restaurant boasts a “constant exploration of elemental cooking” where fire is the primary source of heat and seasonal, locally sourced ingredients take centre stage. The menu is ever-evolving depending on ingredient seasonality, though you’ll find the techniques of pickling, aging and salting commonly used in the preparation of its dishes. Complemented by a cocktail programme curated by the award-winning Proof & Company, Yellow Fin Horse promises a refined gastronomic experience that celebrates people and produce at its core.
