Located a 10-minute drive away from KLCC, Solh marks a charming new spot for Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of KL. Its name is the Persian word for peace, and the space reflects this with its lush, al-fresco dining atmosphere that offers a calming respite. The food menu consists of mezzo-style small plates, grilled meats and pizzas, accompanied by a variety of cocktails, craft beers and natural wines.

After two years of running an online cake shop, mother-daughter duo Lilian and Jessica have finally set up a brick-and-mortar cafe in Mont Kiara offering an array of homemade cakes. Self-taught baker Lilian handles the baking side of things, having picked up the hobby from watching online videos; whilst Jessica, who is a content creator, manages the marketing and other business operations. Soft launched in March, the Instagram-worthy (and pet-friendly) retro space promises to be all over your social media feeds in no time, along with its equally aesthetic chiffon cakes and tea lattes.
