#CheatDayEats: Pies, pies, pies

Perhaps the most exciting thing about eating a pie is guessing if the filling will match its gorgeous golden brown crust. Pastries are amazing but the amount of butter used to make these amazing tiny meals qualifies it as a Cheat Day meal. Here are 3 places that will satisfy your Cheat Day cravings.

1. A Pie Thing

With a collection of beautiful sweet and savoury pies, it’s really difficult to to narrow down your choices at A Pie Thing. Our advice is to go with friends so that you can try as many of these delicious pies as possible. Be sure to get ‘The Mashacre’ topping, a mixture of mash potatoes, mushy peas and gravy, that makes every picture of your pies Insta-worthy.

2. The Humble Pie Co.

If you are a durian lover, you don’t have to think twice before heading into this chic cafe. The pie that elevated The Humble Pie Co. into stardom is their duffee pies — a durian toffee pie. When the season permits, it is a no brainer to pay the extra amount for the Musang King pie.

3. The Crusty Nest

Expect to find some classic meat pies at this minimalistic cafe. Although the savoury pies are really good, the sweet pies are the real winners here. Be sure to try their sumptuous chocolate tarts when you are here.
