1. SUSHI RYU

 

Possibly the most talked about restaurant opening this month, Sushi Ryu offers an omakase experience unlike any in KL, as well as the city’s first 2-star Michelin Japanese Sushi Chef. Some of the signature dishes on the menu include chopped otoro with caviar, white fish sashimi drizzled with truffle shoyu and cold noodles with uni and caviar.

3. TSUKIJI NO. 8

 

As its name suggests, the restaurant imports most of its fresh seafood from the famed Tsukiji Market but what takes it a step further is how the chef curates these very ingredients into something gorgeous on the plate and indulgent on the palate. Sea urchin fans would especially be attracted to the Ocean’s 8 for an assortment of uni and seafood laid over sushi rice and cupped in a crab shell.
