#BuroGetaway: 5 New places to eat and drink at around Seminyak, Bali
An updated mini food guide
If you've been following our Instagram, you'll know the Buro 24/7 Malaysia team went on a #BuroGetaway to Bali recently. Good vibes and great company make for a great trip, and like most holidays, there's always so much to see and do (or in this case, eat) but so little time. Hence, we've rounded up a couple of new restaurants or places to eat in Seminyak which we were eyeing on but didn't manage to visit — but you can.
1. Tiffin Bali
Calling themselves an Indian-inspired kitchen that serves wholesome curries and sharing plates — tapas-style — Tiffin Bali has recently changed its status from a pop-up to an official restaurant. Reviews of the place have been raving and many recommend the fish curry, prawn Tadka skewers and the Kheema samosas (hot!).
Address: Jalan Petitenget 17C (Opposite Da Maria)
Opening hours: 5pm - 10:30pm, closed on Sundays

Craving for fresh seafood? Look no further than the newly opened Seasalt at Alila Seminyak for a tantalising dining experience with a dash of Japanese infusion in the menu and a breathtaking seascape to go with the dishes. Some notable specials include a signature sea salt baked fish and the beautiful Blue Swimmer Crab. Fun fact: Chef Vivian Vitalis hails from Penampang in Sabah and have worked with Johann Lafer at the Michelin-starred Le Val d'Or in Stromberg.

3. Mrs Sippy
Offering a place to soak up the rays, good vibes and chilled atmosphere, Mrs Sippy is Seminyak's latest offering of a hip and stylish pool club. The kitchen features a five-metre Jimbaran-style grill (there's cooking done over coconut shells and husks) and Pizzaiolo Gianluca Marotta who was flown in from Naples. Don't forget about cocktails by the pool.

4. Kaum Bali
Known for serving authentic Indonesian grub, Potato Head Family has added another branch for its restaurant, Kaum. With unique ingredients, revived cooking techniques and interesting flavours, it's the ideal spot to hit for a post-sunset dinner.

5. Da Maria
The brainchild of Australian restauranteur Maurice Terzini, Da Maria is currently one of Seminyak's hottest eateries. Part osteria, part pizzeria and bar, it serves modern Italian fare with a huge helping of stunning and Instagram-worthy interiors. Visit (or stay till) after 10pm and the place transforms into a disco bar with late-night pizzas, drinks, dancing and a live DJ performance.
