Expect a selection of starters, mains and desserts that offer a mix of familiar and elevated flavours, with dishes including Chicken Liver Pate, Prawn Bisque Noodle, Coffee Braised Pork, and PB&J.

2. The Crane KL

Making its ‘nest’ along Jalan Sultan, The Crane KL debuts as a vibrant new addition to the ever bustling Chinatown this year. Housed in a building that dates back to the 1930s, the restaurant and bar reflects the oriental theme of its locality with striking red and teal interiors. Paper cranes and lanterns hang over tables, while crane illustrations adorn the art canvases and walls in the alleyway corridor—a sight that’s well worth the gram. You’ll find original creations such as Nasi Lemak Wanton, Japanese Udon in Curry Laksa Gravy, and its own take of an Aussie Beef Burger on the food menu, in addition to a range of classic cocktails at the bar upstairs.
