#KLFWRTW2017: What you can do in-between shows

With the SEA Games underway and Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week in full swing, KL is definitely the place to be this week. For those of you attending the fashion shows at Pavilion KL, we feel you—while it’s exciting to catch the latest our local designers have to offer, that hour or two in between shows can feel really long. Fret not, that’s where this list comes in handy.

1. Refuel at Mr Chew’s Chino Latino Bar & Restaurant

Pan seared barramundi (as pictured above), anyone? Just a few minutes walk away, get your meal fix at one of most popular new eateries in town—it’s now open for both lunch and dinner

2. Have tea and dessert at Paul Bakery

If you’re looking for something light, savour some sweet French bakes and pastries at Paul Bakery.

3. Get a taste of heaven cheesecake at Isetan The Japan Store

Head over to the fourth level a.k.a. The Table at Isetan The Japan Store, and indulge in the much raved about 6th Avenue Cheesecake and all its melt-in-your-mouth glory.

4. Or get artsy with FabSpace KL

Give your desired items a personal touch at FabSpace KL, located at Cube 3 inside Isetan The Japan Store. You can learn to patch a clutch, or try your hand at the 3D printer or embroidery machine. Don’t trust your own DIY skills? Leave it to the pros and watch them turn your ideas into a work of art.

5. Take a break at the Fashion Hospitality Suite

Acme Bar & Coffee has set up a private section just for you fashion folks, where you can grab a cocktail or two and freshen up before your next show.

6. Show your support for Team Malaysia

While you’re supporting our local designers, don’t forget the national athletes competing at the SEA Games 2017 too. Official merchandise and tickets are available for purchase at the booth on Level 5, Pavilion Elite.

7. Update your scent and candle wardrobe

Have you checked out Diptyque’s brand new space in Pavilion? It’s the first Diptyque boutique in Southeast Asia and it’s absolutely beautiful, filled with our favourite scents as well as boutique exclusives.

8. Get a hair treatment at Hairquarters in Pavilion Elite

Give Redken’s latest Diamond Oil Glow Dry range a go to give your tresses the nourishing it deserves and show up at your next show with a luscious blowout. Love the treatment? Bring home two for the price of one—more details here
