If Swedish DJ Avicii fronting their first two campaigns wasn’t sign enough, fans of Denim and Supply should well know that the brand prides itself on deriving inspiration from the music festival scene. But we’re not taking flower crowns, crochet crop tops and denim cut-offs à la Coachella; rather the rough and tumble, lived-in boho spirit of the artistic community all topped off with a substantial dose of Americana. For their A/W 2015 campaign, young talents such as Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin and singer-songwriters Cody Simpson (who dated Hadid’s older sister, Gigi, for nearly two years before announcing their breakup earlier this year) and Tinashe came together to produce a music video of Charles Wright’s ’70s classic ‘Express Yourself’. The video was recorded at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York, where an impromptu dance-off occured. Check out the making of here:
