The A-listers at Marc Jacobs and Char Defrancesco’s wedding are some of the most stylish guests yet
Exactly a year after Marc Jacobs proposed to his longtime boyfriend Char Defrancesco with a flash mob at Chipotle, the pair held their wedding ceremony at the Grill Room in New York City last night, and to no one’s surprise, it was a star-studded affair. Let’s start with the grooms: Jacobs—who shared many behind-the-scenes snaps on his Instagram throughout the day—wore a bespoke black tux designed by Ralph Fitzgerald of Huntsman, and accessorised his wedding look with a fresh Calla Lily on his lapel, and custom boots that were sent over by Gucci’s Alessandro Michele. Defrancesco opted for something slightly flashier—a green velvet tux by Huntsman, complete with a pair of bespoke sneakers by Christian Louboutin. Apart from their Cartier wedding bands, the couple also wore matching diamond and onyx penguin pins, which were gifted by Prada and Miu Miu’s design director, Fabio Zambernardi.
Guest-wise, from industry heavyweights to supermodels and It-girls of the moment, the celebration was filled with fashion’s It-list, and naturally, all their style game was on point. Many of them showed up in Marc Jacobs’ designs, including Kate Moss, Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Christina Ricci and more, but Naomi Campbell’s Balmain get-up was equally noteworthy.
