On our radar: Prada’s Poster Girl capsule collection

Inspired by its Autumn/Winter’17 show, the capsule line features vintage poster prints which were first spotted plastered on the “bedroom” walls and on looks sent down the runway. Sourced from renowned illustrator, Robert McGinnis, did you know that he’s the man behind the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Barbarella movie posters too? Exuding that ’60s allure, these images are complete with thrilling titles such as Velvet Knife and The Lion House that gives off a femme fatale finish.


Available in the form of long and short-sleeved T-shirts and sweaters (with or without hood for the latter) in white cotton material, each top comes in an exclusive packaging that features all of the poster girls. So if you have a hard time picking a favourite, fret not.

 

The collection will be available at Prada Pavilion in end of August; in the meantime, take your pick from the gallery below:
