Nike’s newly revamped flagship store in London includes diverse model line-up

The new Nike flagship store in London received a complete makeover, plus, a completely new floor fully dedicated to womens sport. The third floor of Nike Town on Oxford Street offers bespoke personalisation services, personal styling, training sessions and even bra fittings.

In a step towards inclusivity, the newly revamped flagship store features plus-size and para-sport mannequins for the first time. Representation matters, and Nike understands this. The sportswear brand has been lauded for using a diverse cast of models in their campaigns and we’re glad to see it follow through more realistic mannequins in store. They introduced their plus-size line as early as February 2017, so it’s high time we see more diversity in their mannequin line-up.

The Guardian reports that the the average mannequin measures around 6ft tall, has a 34in bust, 24in waist, and 34in hips. We’re all for seeing more diverse body types, shapes and sizes. Keep up the good work and fighting the good fight, Nike!
