Nathan Jenden returns to Diane von Furstenberg as its Chief Design Officer

Following Jonathan Saunders’ resignation from the brand, Diane von Furstenberg has appointed Nathan Jenden as its Chief Creative Officer and VP, Creative, and he will be reporting directly to Diane von Furstenberg herself. Having previously worked for the brand from 2001 to 2011, needless to say the designer—who left to launch his eponymous label and was recently the creative director of Bebe—is no stranger to DVF.

“It is with joy and pride that I look forward to welcoming Nathan back at DVF,” Von Furstenberg said in a statement. “Nathan is an extremely talented and technically skillful designer who also has a great gift for surrounding himself with young, emerging talent. He totally embraces the DVF woman, and the brand enjoyed its greatest commercial success during his tenure.” — Diane von Furstenberg

Stay tuned to his debut collection during the AW18 Fashion Week next month.
