Mytheresa is diving into kidswear

Good news! You’ll soon be able to shop for yourself and your mini-mes on Mytheresa. Thanks to its previous highly successful pop-ups and the demand for luxury kidswear, the e-retailer will be expanding its childrens’ department permanently from January 2019 onwards. Dubbed Mytheresa Kids, you can find clothing, shoes, and accessories for babies aged zero to 36 month, and girls’ and boys’ sizing from two to 12 years old. So far, the site has confirmed 35 brands, including designer labels Marc Jacobs, Chloé, Stella McCartney and Acne Studios, as well as kids’ brands such as Bonpoint and Tartine et Chocolat. If you can’t wait to get your hands on the cute clothes, Mytheresa will be pre-launching Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana’s Christmas collections end of the year, in the form of digital pop-up campaigns.

In a statement by the brand, the President of Mytheresa, Michael Kliger says: “We are thrilled to expand into kidswear, offering our customers the luxury edit we are known for at Mytheresa now also for kids. We’ve seen the luxury market for children’s fashion progress dramatically, impacted in particular by the influence of streetwear. This launch was strongly driven by customer feedback and consumer insights we gathered. There will be a lot of amazing and cool products now available for kids through our site.”
