The poster girl for British rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle joins forces with the design team at Mulberry to conceptualise the perfect leather jacket. Inspired by her personal collection of vintage jackets, Georgia May knew just what she wanted for the classic wardrobe essential. “It’s so important to have a leather jacket that fits well and is comfortable. I personally wanted a longer-line style that came to the hips, as it flatters the figure, and the arms need to be cut just at the right width so you can layer a jumper underneath and still move your arms!”
Georgia May’s vision coupled with Mulberry know-how of working with leather resulted in the Mulberry Georgia May Jagger Biker Jacket—a gorgeous creation crafted with soft, black lambskin alongside two zip pockets and classic vintage biker style. The iconic silhouette is given Georgia May’s personal design twist: a pop of vibrant jewel-tone lining in a choice of Emerald Green, Sapphire Blue or deep pink Ruby Magenta.
A collection of silk scarves were designed to complement the biker chic look. The Small Silk Square and Large Silk Scarf both come in matching hues of Emerald Green, Sapphire Blue or Ruby Magenta, featuring Mulberry icons of a Fox, an Owl or a Bee. And of course, the ultimate leather jacket deserves an edgy little pouch to go with it. Georgia May dreamt up a small leather pouch on a biker chain that can wrap around the wrist or sit across the body, perfect for hitting the road.
