MTV Video Music Awards 2023: All the best dressed stars on the pink carpet

MTV fans were in for a treat today, as the Video Music Awards took place at the Prudential Centre in New Jersey and it turned out to be an exciting one with Shakira accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Stray Kids having their stage debut, and Demi Lovato performing for the first time in six years!
On the pink carpet, Versace dressed some of the biggest stars like Taylor Swift, who wore a draped black sablé gown with signature Medusa buttons; and Shakira, who looked stunning in a golden gown fashioned from a metal mesh degradé into distressed lace. Selena Gomez, on the other hand, walked away with the Best Afrobeats award in an Oscar de La Renta hand-beaded scarlet gown, while Olivia Rodrigo emanated all the radiance as she arrived in a Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown embedded with over 150,000 Swarovski crystals—a true masterpiece!
Elsewhere, the sheer trend continued to dominate as Paint The Town Red singer Doja Cat entered the scene donning a hand-knitted spider web gown by Monse, while Nicki Minaj lived the bridal fantasy with her pink Dolce & Gabbana corset and sheer lace veil. Other A-listers that joined the gang were Megan Thee Stallion with her black see-through dress by Brandon Blackwood and Karol G with her nude lace dress by Ashi Studio. A couple of extravagant outfits were also spotted that night, including Cardi B’s floor-length Dilara Findikoglu dress decorated with a bevy of hair clips and Lil Nas X’s all-white Palomo Spain outfit that matched his feathered headgear.
And, no, we didn’t forget about the other boys—Stephen Sanchez, in particular, nailed it with his structured black suit and an extra-large baby blue bow, as did the members of Tomorrow x Together (TXT)—Dior’s latest ambassador—who were all decked out in the House’s ensemble.
