Monaco’s Royal Wedding 2019: Charlotte Casiraghi’s bridal looks are perfection

A member of Monaco’s royal family (she’s the granddaughter of Hollywood icon Grace Kelly, also known as Princess Grace, and the daughter of Princess of Hanover, Caroline), Charlotte Casiraghi is one of the most stylish royals in the fashion scene. Her oh-so-chic looks have always landed her a spot on best dressed lists and on the front row of some of the biggest fashion shows every season, from Stella McCartney to Saint Laurent to Chanel. Over the weekend, the 32-year-old got married to her French film producer Dimitri Rassam, and her wedding looks were, of course, the centre of attention.

Both of her bridal outfits were a nod to Princess Grace. For the civil ceremony that was held at Monaco’s Prince’s Palace, the princess wore a Saint Laurent brocade dress designed by Anthony Vaccarello, and the look is reminiscent of the suit the late Princess wore for her civil marriage to Prince Rainier in 1956. At the reception, Casiraghi changed into a second look which is a stunning satin strapless gown by Chanel, with a cinched waist and a slit in the middle. Her choice of bling? A three-strand Cartier diamond necklace that belonged to her late grandmother. It was perfection.
