H&M Conscious Exclusive 2017 explores floral ethereality for the evening

You might have first caught wind of H&M’s sustainable fashion line here when we previewed it in Paris last year. If that has fueled your interest in adding eco-friendly threads to your closet, brace yourselves for what the Swedish fashion retailer has to offer from Conscious Exclusive collection 2017 dropping this April.

“we thought not only about the look of the pieces, but also how they feel and sound. It’s a collection to please all our senses, and also our desire to be sustainable in everything we do.” — Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director.

A key point from H&M’s Conscious Exclusive range is that every piece is made from sustainable materials, such as polyester made from recycled plastics and even recycled glass for accessories. This spring, expect evening-worthy pieces by way of floral, dreamy-like prints, shimmery and sequined cocktail dresses, and utterly chic lounge jackets in organic silk and Tencel twill. Accessories to go hand in hand with your outfit include a fishnet bag made from recycled shoreline waste and dangling earrings made from glass. This sustainable collection will also feature a kids range for the first time, with adorable tulle dresses, soft blazers and trousers for the perfect mommy-and-me #OOTD.
