In the early days of the K-pop wave, long before the emergence of BTS and Blackpink, we had Big Bang—one of the most groundbreaking musical groups who ruled the scene, making history with every release since their debut in 2006. Leading the four-member pack is none other than Kwon Ji-Yong—better known as G-Dragon—a virtuoso, trailblazer, and trendsetting fashion icon acclaimed for his adventurous and androgynous style.
Aside from his heavy influence in today’s K-pop culture, Kwon’s fearless sense of style has also made him the first Korean celebrity and the first Asian man to become a Chanel ambassador. From edgy military-inspired ensembles decked with chains to eclectic punk looks with oversized fur hats, the fashion shapeshifter has done it all.
