This season, Gucci debuts Gucci Lido, a collection that celebrates the irresistible charm of coastal living. Drawing inspiration from the picturesque beach clubs and Italy’s scenic ‘lidos,’ the latest series offers a versatile range of cosy pieces, from stylish swimwear to chic resort wear options. The beloved classics Gucci Jackie and GG Marmont bags are reimagined with straw-effect raffia and canvas renditions, while the Gucci Luce and Moon Side bags are adorned with striking neon details. Adding to the excitement, Gucci plans to host a series of in-store pop-ups in renowned resort destinations like Porto Cervo, Capri, the Hamptons and Saint-Tropez.

Earlier this month, Ralph Lauren unveiled his latest collection at his private design studio in New York City. The new lineup captures the essence of feminine sophistication, blending subtle yet luxurious neutral tones with shimmering metallics. “The woman I design for has a beauty that comes from an inner confidence. She dresses for herself. Her style is personal and bold,” says the legendary designer. The runway showcased impeccably tailored suit jackets, gracefully draped knits, sumptuous suede and leather separates, alongside elegantly bias-cut gowns. Additionally, the collection boasts a curated array of refined accessories, including the RL 888 tote from the latest RL 888 series.

Burberry’s community grows with the addition of award-winning South Korean actor, Son Suk-ku. He is known for his standout roles in hit series like ‘D.P’ on Netflix, as well as dramas such as ‘My Liberation Notes’ and ‘The Roundup.’ Son Suk-ku shares his excitement about the appointment, saying: “I’ve long admired Burberry, so it’s a big honour to become Burberry’s ambassador. I look forward to my future journey with Burberry.” Alongside Bright Vachirawit, Son Heung-min and Chen Kun, Son Suk-ku represents the heritage brand with his unique charisma and talent. 

 

Coach partners with Malaysian brand Innai

Coach recently launched an exclusive collection with Innai, a homegrown label led by creative visionary Izrin Ismail. This partnership marks Coach’s inaugural foray into the region, reflecting its commitment to reimagining heritage with a contemporary twist. The assortment features a range of t-shirts and classic totes in pastel tones of beige, blue and pink. At its heart is the modern interpretation of Malaysian batik art, with Innai’s signature ‘Paradise Swirl’ hibiscus motif as the main focal point, offering a nostalgic ode to the carefree spirit of Eastern Malaysian coastlines.

After two successful collaborations with Jennie, Gentle Monster once again joined forces with the global superstar for its latest eyewear collection, named ‘Jentle Salon.’ The third project goes beyond conventional eyewear with its eye-catching charm designs, boasting eight distinct frame silhouettes. Each frame incorporates innovative elements such as temples designed for detachable charms and hair-slide temples resembling barrettes. The collection boasts 11 elegantly crafted charms inspired by Jennie’s favourites, including capybaras and clouds. To celebrate the release, a series of pop-ups took place in select cities such as Singapore, Tokyo and New York City. Malaysians can look forward to experiencing it at the Gentle Monster store in The Exchange TRX this July.
