Amidst everything that’s currently happening, Gucci has launched the perfect project that’ll spice up your stay-at-home life—a fashion film festival called GucciFest. Made to showcase its new collection entitled ‘Ouverture of Something That Never Ended’, the week-long event showcased a series of short movies that were co-directed by creative director Alessandro Michele and filmmaker Gus Van Sant.

Starring actress, artist and performer Silvia Calderoni, the seven episodes feature her carrying out her daily routine in Rome, where she encounters different cast members along the way, including Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Lu Han, Florence Welch, and more. The characters were all dressed in Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection.

After announcing its multi-year NBA collaboration earlier this year, the highly anticipated capsule collection is finally in stores. Designed by men’s creative director Virgil Abloh, the limited clothing and accessories line fuses the French Maison’s house codes with the emblems of basketball. Highlights from the collection include the Keepall duffle featuring netted details that are reminiscent of a basketball hoop, a pantsuit that’s emblazoned with NBA logos, and the array of bags that come in the basketball association’s signature red, white, and blue hues.

The LV x NBA collection is now in stores.

Longchamp launches a music video titled Tres Paris

Emily, who? Inspired by the iconic Parisian song, ‘It’s 5am, Paris Awakens’, Longchamp released an eccentric short film that highlights the essence of Paris, with a storyline that centers around drama, friendship, romance, and its well-loved Roseau bags. Starring up-and-coming French actresses, the eight-minute clip reflects artistic director Sophie Delafontaine’s aim to “depict an active, spontaneous, and open-minded woman, one who grabs hold of life with elegance and independent spirit. She’s strong, but also indulgent and never takes herself too seriously. Sit back, relax, and experience the joie de vivre of the city virtually.
