Following the recent announcement of a collaboration between Uniqlo and Alexander Wang, the brand has now released the full line-up from the collection, and if you’re not sure what to expect, just know that your innerwear pieces are about to get a stylish upgrade. Utilising the Heattech and Heattech Extra Warm fabrics that have become a cold weather essential, the line comprises of your everyday basics such as tank tops, bodysuits, and leggings—all given a dose of Alexander Wang’s magic. Men’s and women’s underwear, in particular, are introduced in Heattech fabric for the first time. Sharp and slim silhouettes are infused with neo-futuristic elements such as glossy rib materials for a tinge of sporty ’80s flair. While most pieces are mainly in neutral tones, those who yearn for bright hues can opt for the neon green, which is no doubt one of the hottest colours of the moment. The campaign images, which feature the products in an ice block, aim to spread a metaphorical message that the Heattech pieces transcend the cold, and although they are innerwear, they could be layered or worn as outerwear.
