Alexander Wang puts his spin on Bvlgari’s classic Serpenti Forever bag for their collab collection

Alexander Wang and Bvlgari slay in their respective lanes. The former being known for modern, contemporary designs while the latter for opulence with a 135-year old heritage. The two meet in the middle for an unexpected collaboration seeing a range of leather bags-a shopper tote, a belt bag, a convertible satchel, a minaudiere and two shoulder bags. The final two silhouettes are reminscent of the classic Serpenti Forever bag, reimagined with a double and triple flap and Wang’s modern take on the Serpenti hardware. He tells Vogue, “It was a nod to the sinful woman, and that was something I could relate to. I always think about a thrill-seeker when I design.”

The range comes in classic Wang’s preferred colour palette of white and black, with a snakeskin option. However, if you’re looking for a pop of colour, the delectable mint green hue will definitely tickle your fancy. The addition of the fresh hue is an ode to Bvlgari’s green tea fragrance launched in 1992, Wang’s favourite scent growing up.

The Alexander Wang x Bvlgari collection is set to launch in September 2019.
