If you thought Seoul’s scene-sters were all pretty faces with predictable threads, this Spring/Summer 2017 fashion week might just prove us all wrong. One thing we loved about Seoul’s fashion-forward folk is their penchant for pulling off all the latest trends in just one look. We’re talking sport luxe (the very essence of what “street style” entails, really) with a dash of runway chic via snazzy accessories and the mandatory “I-can-pull-anything-off” attitude. Oversized denim jackets ruled, along with elements from one’s wardrobe’s underpinnings i.e. lace, lingerie, and slip dresses (albeit in crushed velvet). One of our favourite looks was completed with a pair of seriously badas* knee-high Dr Martens and a shocking mass of neon pink hair to boot—talk about making a major statement.
