London Fashion Week SS17: Day 5 Street Style
Textbook on textures

The time has come to bid farewell to the cobblestone streets of London town. We are coloured a rosy shade of impressed with the generous offerings of street fashion by the industry darlings that we have had the pleasure of featuring.
To wrap things up for our London Fashion Week street style reports, we're ditching the etsy-esque paper-packaging ethos and going with bright orange wooly shearling and a suffocating amount of layered black tulle. We're talking texture.
A sure-win way to add interest to your outfit—be it minimal or over-the-top—is by incorporating textural details to instantly create points of interest. Corrupting the monotonous, textural elements in the form of tactile materials like velvet; fabric manipulation through appliqué application or pleating; and even finishes like high-gloss coatings could add much needed dynamism.
