Every season, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of Dior’s immersive pop-ups, each a celebration of a distinct collection. From whisking us away to the breathtaking coastline of Desaru for Dioriviera to transporting us on a city escape nestled within the confines of Sentul Park for its Cruise ’24 presentation, each event promises a unique, unforgettable and highly fashionable experience.

This time around, we’re treated to the Spring/Summer 2024 collection showcased in a stunning pop-up situated on the ninth floor of Colony at The Met, running until March 17th. Situated within Mont Kiara, a burgeoning spot poised for future growth, the corporate landmark sets the stage for a one-of-a-kind experience. As you pass by the distinctive Dior signage and step through the doors, you’ll find yourself immersed in a beautifully decorated space—walls are adorned with the captivating Toile de Jouy Soleil print and complemented by elegant wooden floors. Overall, there is an inviting ambience that calls you in to explore and indulge in a bit of shopping.

The Spring/Summer 2024 collection, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, embodies a rebellious yet powerful expression of femininity characterised by striking elements. Tethered lace adorns skirts and dresses, while black schoolgirl pinafores receive a sophisticated twist. Gold crochet pieces add touches of glamour, bearing the signature Dior touch. Blazers are expertly cinched at the waist to accentuate the female form. For those eyeing a new bag, the quilted Toujours come in both Black Cannage Tweed and Black Macrocannage Crinkled Calfskin versions, offering enduring versatility. Additionally, timeless Book Totes in various iterations, Lady Diors, Lady D-Joys, and the chic Caro bags, are available. Complementing these pieces are elegant, dainty jewellery options like the Tribales New Look Ring or the Toile de Jouy Soleil Choker.

Adjacent to the retail space lies a dining experience that is simply unmissable. If you’ve heard about Dior’s renowned cafes—led by Michelin-starred Chef Raymond Tham of Beta KL—but haven’t had the opportunity to experience it yet, now is your chance! Anticipate a delectable array of expertly crafted dishes such as the Charcoal-Grilled Wagyu Beef Striploin served with mandarin peel juice, Chutoro Tuna Tartare with Mango and Lime, and Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio with Avocado Mousse. Then, indulge your sweet tooth with the 70 per cent Fleur de Cao Lavender Chocolate Crémeux—simply heavenly! Fancy a tipple? A selection of special cocktails and mocktails awaits, such as Soleil, Monsieur Dior and La Tour Eiffel.
