Salvatore Ferragamo Off-Duty is all about gender-fluid footwear

Ever saw a pair of men’s loafers and wished you could wear it, but to be disappointed that there isn’t the exact same pair in women’s sizes? Salvatore Ferragamo had you in mind for their footwear project this SS16. Introducing Ferragamo Off-Duty, a footwear collection created with style and practicality in mind and exclusively without gender distinctions.

The house’s bestseller, the Parigi driver incorporates a unique tubular production technique that makes it incredibly flexible. If you prefer a classic look, the Mason moccasin’s stylish hand-stitched details include a burnished-finish profile with a rounded contour on the heels. The double Gancio buckle is a distinctive signature feature along with a variety of materials and latest season colour combinations—from soft nabuk and palladium-finish Gancio to a vivid patent, embossed calfskin and sumptuous python with a rhodium-coloured accessory.

The palette for the Off-Duty collection comprises of the new unisex Piuma print or the brilliant tones of summer. For sneakerheads, the Lisbona lace up sneaker is made of an extra-light rubber sole that is ergonomic to boot and is also available in an array of materials: plain calfskin, patent, soft split leather, suede and Airspring print fabric, or Piuma print leather in three colourways: wine-blue-grey-brown, dark rain and burgundy, sand and rose. The Giolly slip-on sneaker on the other hand emanates a more contemporary look, thanks to neoprene, crystal embroidery on the uppers, and its all-black hue.
