Victoria Beckham designs limited edition items for World AIDS Day

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has designed a limited edition collection in honour of World AIDS Day, which falls on December 1 every year. This marks the second time that the UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador has lend her design expertise to support the cause (she designed a limited edition T-shirt in 2014). Items from this collection include a white cotton jersey shirt with the World AIDS Day red ribbon motif and artwork, along with a blonde-gold key ring that has the same ribbon as well.

“The world has committed to end the AIDS epidemic as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and I truly believe this is a real possibility,” she says, according to WWD“We have come such a long way in the fight against AIDS. Huge global efforts have created proven results, and more and more people are accessing treatment and prevention services. But we are not there yet. There are still people being left behind due to gender inequalities, stigma and discrimination and lack of resources. I am proud to take a stand, speaking up for change and pushing on towards our common goal of ending AIDS.”

The collection is available in her flagship store in London and on victoriabeckham.com.
