The founder of cult menswear label Hood by Air and the French brand joined forces for an “inventive” capsule collection
Longchamp goes avant-garde with its latest collaboration, churning out head-turning pieces that'll no doubt be another street style favourite. The fashion designer this round? Shayne Oliver, the founder of New York-based label Hood by Air. Combining his artistic vision with the French brand's craftsmanship and French elegance, the partnership took the travel-gear concept to new heights. Fans of the Le Pliage bags can get a double dose from its Double Le Pliage, featuring two fonts—'Hiatus' and 'Realness'—on each side, and it can also be opened up to showcase the Longchamp graphic in between both carriers. If you want to take it one step further, the nylon jacket featuring the Le Pliage's signature flap and handle on the sleeves (yes, you read that right) is a standout piece for sure. Speaking of the collaboration, Shayne Oliver says, "I really like the idea of working with brands that are masters of their craft. Longchamp has a prestigious history of providing luxury travel essentials with expert craftsmanship. It made total sense to work with them on my first all accessories project."
