The nominees for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) 2016 Fashion Awards have been revealed, and while we’re not surprised at the usual names i.e. heavyweights including Joseph Altuzarra who won the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award in 2014, newer names including Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel of the hit accessory brand Mansur Gavriel also are in the running this year.
