H&M’s collaborations have always been one of the most highly anticipated drops every year, and in 2021, it’s no different. ICYMI, the brand announced its partnership with Irish designer Simone Rocha back in January. “I am so thrilled to be working with H&M on this very special collection,” the designer says in a statement. “It truly is a celebration of the signatures of my brand, and the influences that have shaped me. As a designer, and as a customer, I’ve been such a fan of the H&M collaboration concept. Margiela, Alber Elbaz, Comme des Garçons—it’s such an amazing list of alumni to be a part of.”
Fast forward two months later, the line is dropping tomorrow, and if you’ve always been a fan of Rocha’s designs (or Netflix’s Bridgerton), this collection is one you should definitely get. Made up of the brand’s dreamy and romantic archival hits, the line-up features an abundance of tulle, lace, and tartan pieces, accented with bow and pearl details that add that inject a strong dose of femininity. Womenswear aside, the collaboration also marks the designer’s first foray into menswear and childrenswear, and the pieces are equally as eye-catching.
