American Music Awards 2018: What the stars wore

Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, the American Music Awards 2018 this year is definitely one of the most star-studded yet, with top music stars such as Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez and Rita Ora in attendance. Black, as usual, was the colour theme of the night, alongside pops of pink that made the red carpet a sweet and girly affair. Some noteworthy looks include Rita Ora‘s floral gown with poofy cap sleeves, Heidi Klum‘s “naked” fringed dress, and Camila Cabello‘s bustier-pants look that was a refreshing pick for the gown-filled red carpet. Jennifer Lopez slayed the red carpet (as usual) in her skin-baring hot pink gown, and Dua Lipa dialed up the glamour this round with a demure off-shoulder ensemble. But the most eye-catching look of them all was definitely Taylor Swift‘s metallic get-up. Although she opted to skip the past few awards show this season, Taylor Swift made a sparkly comeback to the red carpet with a Balmain dress, complete with matching thigh-high boots that definitely elongated her figure further. The pop superstar went on to beat Drake, Imagine Dragons, Post Malone and Ed Sheeran for the Artist of the Year award.
