A Chanel documentary is coming to Netflix, and here’s what we know

Want something else other than Christmas movies to watch on your year-end break? Good news: Netflix is adding a new fashion docuseries to its site, featuring the iconic French fashion house, Chanel. Directed by Andrew Rossi—the man behind the Met Gala documentary, The First Monday in MaySeven Days Out follows Karl Lagerfeld and his team for—you guessed it—an entire week as they prepare for Chanel’s Haute Couture Spring 2018 show in January early this year. The Grand Palais was transformed into a dreamy garden that centered around an 18th-century fountain, and models strolled down the maze of runways in oh-so-ethereal ensembles. Florals were spotted in abundance, and short veils adorned the models’ heads. Regardless whether you’re a fan of the brand, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the world of Chanel, and go behind the scenes from the studio to its haute couture and Métiers d’Art ateliers. According to WWD, aside from Chanel, the subsequent episodes will follow different visionaries who are in the food, space, sports, and entertainment field.
