After partnering with Levi’s for his Man of the Woods tour, Justin Timberlake is once again collaborating with the brand, but this time, it’s on a full-fledged collection. Inspired by the singer’s love of music (and his style as of late), the name of the line, ‘Fresh Leaves’, is derived from how he’s making his own mark, and giving a fresh spin on timeless pieces. Consists of 20 looks, the menswear line definitely radiates that rugged vibe with a hint of streetwear flair. Fans of the brand can find a new addition to the 501 Family—the 501 Slim Taper, inspired by how Justin wears his 501 jeans. A piece to keep a look out for? The denim camo trucker jacket that’s printed using the brand’s newly launched Project FLX digital laser technology—talking about giving the classics a dose of modernity!
During the design process, Justin worked closely with the Levi’s team at the brand’s San Francisco Eureka Innovation Lab, the Levi’s Archives and their showroom in Los Angeles, called the Haus of Strauss. According to Levi Strauss & Co.’s Chief Product Officer, Karyn Hillman, “We immediately connected with Justin on creating pieces that blended the familiar with the unexpected. Inspired by the stories behind Justin’s music, we used classic materials-canvas, plaid, camo, flannels, Sherpa and denim and put them onto familiar silhouettes and Levi’s icons but remixed them by infusing streetwear elements and hints of modernity.”
