Alessandro Dell’Acqua went for a mashup of decades, with a collection inspired the photographic styles of Corrine Day and Tina Modotti, combining ’90s cool with the softer, more feminine appeal of the ’20s.
Not surprisingly, contrasting images were a key look on the runway—stripes coupled with bows, t-shirt worn under chiffon slip dresses, laser cut-outs and pom pom fringes—showcasing an unconventional sense of styling that had a rebellious charm to it.
Pom poms, feathers, and snakeskin—an unlikely combination that came together to make bold, quirky shoes that are sure to strike a chord with the brand’s following and non alike.
