From his SS15 floral tribute to Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band cover, and bringing the Carribean beach to NYC during SS16, to one of our favourites—a Tommy Hilfiger carnival at Chelsea Pier last SS17 season, Tommy Hilfiger is not one to shy away from OTT showspaces. This round, the brand is moving outside of the country for his third see-now-buy-now collaboration with Gigi Hadid, and for the first time in seven years, the show will be sending both womenswear and menswear down the runway. Tommy Hilfiger has previously hinted the theme of its show with a teaser video, and it’ll be inspired by the designer’s love for ’90s rock ‘n’ roll style. Aside from familiar faces from the industry, Tommy Hilfiger will also be welcoming as many as 2000 members of the public at the show, alongside its new ambassadors, The Chainsmokers. The show will close out London Fashion Week with a bang, for sure.
“Tommynow continues to put the consumer at the heart of the event, fusing fashion, pop culture and entertainment, and connecting with our global fans in an authentic way.” – Tommy Hilfiger
