MFW SS16: Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer ’16 presentation was an ode to their native Italy, a celebration of the country’s sights and sounds captured through the eyes of foreign tourists, resulting in a vivid, exuberant collection that was nothing short of exciting.

Almost everything was heavily embellished and decorated—floral embroidery and appliqués, classic stripes, and Italy’s iconic landmarks were printed and adorned on shoes, accessories, pant suits, semi-sheer overlays, and dresses.

The finale was quite the sight—the army of D&G models came out clad in vibrant postcard-printed minidresses and taking selfies, closing out the fun, lively show on a high note.
