Chanel’s SS17 eyewear pre-collection takes inspiration from the house’s iconic flower

If neon shades and pastel tones don’t tickle your fancy, Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2017 eyewear pre-collection will change your mind in a heartbeat. The Parisian house’s latest sunglasses lineup introduces two ranges that are as different as they can be, yet both sport influences from Chanel’s iconic motifs.

The first line of sunglasses is inspired by the camellia—black and white nylon petals form a blooming symmetry around black or pink mirorred glass on cat eye frames, offering an edgy yet ultra feminine aesthetic complete with matte metal temples punctuated with a double C. The more snazzy pair of the two, the camellia-inspired shades are for the fashion maven who cites Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn as style inspiration. The latter pair offers a touch of contrast with oval frames in vivid hues. Available in neon yellow, red, blue, pink and green, and deep olive khaki, the XXL lenses sport visible rivets along the acetate of the frames, bringing a retro touch to the table if you’re aiming for a summer-loving, punchy look to your overall ensemble.

Chanel Spring/Summer 2017 eyewear pre-collection is now available exclusively in Chanel, KLCC and Chanel Beauté, Pavilion.
