Netflix’s series sensation Squid Game has taken the world by storm. Since its September release, the dystopian K-drama has been on everyone’s minds, and is slowly on its way to becoming the streaming platform’s most-watched show ever. It’s not difficult to see why: From all the nostalgic (deadly) childhood games to Internet girlfriend Jung Ho-yeon, Squid Game deftly unpacks the insidious nature of capitalism and social inequality in a plot that mingles satire and melodrama via plenty of visually memorable elements. While the soldiers donned fuschia nylon jumpsuits, the unofficial uniform for the hundreds of in-debt contestants was a deep teal striped tracksuit, paired with white slip-on Vans.
