A guide to what the celebrities wore at Coachella 2019

Commonly known as Coachella, did you know the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been around since 1999? Fast forward 20 years later, it’s now one of the largest music festivals in the world—the passes for this year completely sold out in six hours. This year’s star-studded line-up includes Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Khalid, Janelle Monae, and pop’s newest superstar, Billie Ellish. And for the first time ever, the music extravaganza also featured its first ever K-pop girl group, Blackpink. An A+ performance list comes with equally famous attendees, and as usual, the celebs are pulling out all the stops with their head-turning festival-ready ensembles which did not disappoint. From what we’ve seen so far, the Coachella style is definitely moving in the right direction—like we mentioned earlier, festival fashion doesn’t have to be all things boho. Flowers crowns were replaced with bucket hats, fringes were given an OTT take, as seen from Kacey Musgraves on-stage outfit in look 22, and some of Spring/Summer 2019’s best trends such as tie-dye prints (worn by Gigi Hadid in look 8) and neon hues (which proved to be Winnie Harlow‘s favourite this year) made the perfect festival pieces.
