Accessory of the day: Altuzarra’s AW19 statement earrings

Joseph Altuzarra presented his Autumn/Winter ’19 show at the 19th-century Hôtel Potocki, in a beautiful hall where glass chandeliers line the length of the room. Rivalling the extravagance of the show venue was the sophistication that echoed through the designer’s latest collection; a sophistication deftly juxtaposed with the picture of bikers and leather fetish. Think skirt suits and coats embellished with belt buckles and paisley printed tops paired with leather trousers. Completing the looks were major statement earrings that, too, embodied the collection’s essence. Gilded and glimmering with opulence but embellished with spikes, it’s toughness and romance encapsulated to a T.
