Just when you thought that you’ve aced your heel game by successfully not tripping over your feet, French maison Saint Laurent has decided to install wheels (yes, you read that right) on three-inch stilettos—just in case you decide to break out into major dance moves while rocking killer heels about town.
Designed by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the roller skate heels come in four variations that include details such as sequins and snakeskin, and is equipped with four wheels and a gripped toe stopper—in case you need to hit the brakes to regain your balance. First spotted in a trio of campaign images shot by Inez and Vinoodh on Instagram earlier this February, this marks the second footwear that Saint Laurent has fitted wheels to, the first being a pair of classic high-tops that echoed a throwback sentiment.
