Tame Impala to perform in KL for Urbanscapes

Urbanscapes is a name that every other music fan in Malaysia would be familiar with. Originally kicking off as a creative arts and music festival, Urbanscapes was always the relief for those who yearned for something other than raves and expensive concerts by radio hits. While the festival took a break last year, Urbanscapes has just announced that they would be back this year, beginning with Tame Impala Live in KL.

Hailing from Perth, Australia, Tame Impala has been steadily climbing up the ranks with their unmistakable brand of psychedelic rock. They released their debut album Innerspeaker in 2010, followed by 2012’s Lonerism, which earned them a Grammy nomination and secured their hypnotic sound. Their most recent album Currents, which was released in 2015, has also been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.

The band will take the stage at KL Live on 23 April. The first phase of tickets will go on sale on 21 January, with prices starting from RM199.
