Only one EP and a brand new single (just released last week!) in, and Prep has got us hooked with their magical brand of electro pop. Their distinctively crisp and funk-infused sound is perhaps largely thanks to a unique make-up—the four-piece British band is comprised of a hip-hop producer, a classical composer, a house DJ, and a singer-songwriter.
Since releasing their first EP Futures back in 2016, Prep has since played a number of gigs internationally, including one in Johor Bahru last year. For fans who were patiently waiting for new work—the wait is almost over. The band is set to release their second EP Cold Fire in April this year. But before that, they dropped their brand new single titled ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’, an upbeat, groovy track to fuel your soul with feel good vibes. Listen to Prep on Spotify here:
