Bruno Major's show may be sold out, but there are still plenty of gigs you can catch this month:

5 & 6 October (Fri & Sat), Reza Salleh @ Alexis Bistro, Ampang

Kick off the first weekend of October on the right note with an intimate acoustic set by Reza Salleh. The singer-songwriter will be performing his originals, backed by some familiar faces in the local gig circuit, namely Irena Taib on electric guitar, Savy Ho on violin and Zalila Lee on percussion.

5 - 7 October (Fri - Sun), The Shanghai Sisters @ Bobo KL

Or if you'd prefer some good old golden tunes, join Janet, Winnie and May a.k.a. The Shanghai Sisters and WVC-Malaysian Jazz Ensemble as they deliver a heady mix of Old Shanghai, Grand Malaya and Romantic Hollywood at Bobo.

6 October (Sat), Wine & Disco Lovers Night @ fono, The Zhongshan Building

Lovers of wine, cheese and disco rejoice! Here comes a night that combines all three of your loves under one roof. Enjoy three hours of free flow wine from Pernod Ricard, delicious Emborg cheese and groove all night long to music by Stuffa & Rupert.

6 & 7 October (Sat & Sun), National Geographic: Symphony For Our World @ Dewan Filharmonik Petronas

Bleeding Fingers Music's original symphony our planet will be performed by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and Malaysian Institute of Art's Mixed Voices Choir, accompanied by National Geographic's breath-taking footage of all the wonders and beauty of Earth for an incredible multimedia symphonic experience.

7 October (Sunday), Il Divo Presents 'Timeless' @ Arena of Stars, Genting

The classical crossover quartet that stole the world's hearts with 'Regresa a mí' is set to serenade fans with music from their latest album, Timeless. Did you know local hip-hop collective Lawalah Familia collaborated with Boston rap duo N.B.S. (Natural Born Spitters) on an EP? Well now that you do, head on down to The Bee later this month for the KL leg of the Lawalah Vets (also the name of the EP) tour. N.B.S. will headline the show, along with Lawalah Familia, Ruffneck Clique, Karmal and G Town Guerillaz.
