The Biggest Music Releases We’ve Been Loving in April 2026

Another month, more bangers to add to our playlist. From Olivia Rodrigo’s sweet love letter to CORTIS’s chaotic anthem, these are the songs that defined April for us and have been on loop since they dropped.

Olivia Rodrigo – ‘drop dead’

Our first look at Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is here, and it’s a bop! Singing about a boy she “stalked on the internet”, the music video sees the singer running around the historic Palace of Versailles in France before picking up a pink guitar and going full lovestruck mode. Her upcoming third studio album drops 12 June 2026.

CORTIS – ‘REDRED’

What are red and green flags to CORTIS? In the MV of their pre-release single, ‘RedRed’, the trending boy group lets us in on what’s in and out. Characterised by grungy electronic textures and catchy chants, the song builds on the quintet’s signature brand of teenage chaos and grittiness. CORTIS’s second EP, GreenGreen, arrives on 4 May 2026.

Zayn – KONNAKOL

Multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, producer, and philanthropist Zayn releases his highly anticipated fifth studio album, Konnakol, his most culturally inspired project to date. The pop-forward album expands on the sound fans first heard on his record breaking debut studio album, Mind of Mine, with 15 introspective tracks.

Dayoung – ‘What’s a girl to do’

The K-pop It Girl is back with another summer-ready beat! Hot off the success of her solo debut single, ‘Body’, Dayoung returns with ‘What’s a girl to do’, a playful pop track that expresses the honest thoughts going through one’s head when falling for someone.

Lady Gaga, Doechii – ‘Runway’

We’re so ready for The Devil Wears Prada 2, and this song has us gearing up to see Miranda Priestly back on screen, like, yesterday. Full of drama and haughtiness, ‘Runway’ is everything we expect from the highly anticipated sequel and more.

Anyma, LISA – ‘Bad Angel’

Multidisciplinary artist, DJ, and producer Anyma teamed up with Lisa of Blackpink to collaborate on the hypnotic, high-energy new single, ‘Bad Angel’. Honestly, this was a grower. We weren’t immediately taken with it until we saw the performance on Coachella. Now, it’s (specifically, Lisa’s jaw-dropping costume) all we can think about. They had a vision and sold it!

Tyla – ‘She Did It Again’ feat. Zara Larsson

Speaking of hypnotic, Tyla and Zara Larsson have entranced us with their lush vocals and hip movements. Serving as the second single from Tyla’s upcoming second studio album, A*Pop, ‘She Did It Again’ is a certified booty-popper featuring two of the hottest female artists right now.

Hwasa – ‘So Cute’

We love girl crush Hwasa, but soft, girly Hwasa is just as wonderful. Returning after the chart-topping ballad ‘Good Goodbye’ in October 2025, Hwasa heals her inner child with ‘So Cute’, an upbeat, synth-pop track that romanticises life like a warm hug. Psst, can you catch all the Easter eggs and references in the music video?

Noah Kahan – The Great Divide

Two-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum superstar Noah Kahan delivers one of the year’s most highly anticipated album, ‘The Great Divide’. With tracks such as ‘Doors’ and ‘Porch Light’, the American singer-songwriter explores the emotional chasm between his quiet, small-town life in Vermont and navigating his new, meteoric fame.

Laufey – ‘Madwoman’

Returning with the deluxe version of her Grammy-winning album A Matter of Time, Laufey’s ‘Madwoman’ reflects the singer’s signature blend of jazzy pop and classical music. As if the song isn’t fun enough, the Icelandic-Chinese artist brought together breakout Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams, Olympic champion Alysa Liu, Lola Tung of The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Megan Skiendel of Katseye to star in her cinematic music video. The deluxe version comes with four new songs.

TXT – ‘Stick With You’

TXT unveiled their eighth EP, 7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, with their title track, ‘Stick With You’, and what can we say? We’re a sucker for yearning. The electro-pop song features the members’ powerful vocals as they express their emotions of being unable to part with their lover. Featuring actress Jeon Jong Seo, the music video is equally gut-punching.

Conan Gray – Wishbone (Deluxe)

Multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Conan Gray has released the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed album, Wishbone. With five new songs such as ‘Door’ and ‘The Best’, the record continues Gray’s exploration of heartbreak, grief, and anger in his most vulnerable project yet.

Kiss of Life – ‘Who Is She’

If there’s a girl group that embodies the ‘girl crush’ concept, it would be Kiss of Life, and ‘Who Is She’ continues to prove that. The track immediately grabs your attention with its powerful bassline and belting notes. If only the song was longer than three minutes!

Demi Lovato – It’s Not That Deep (Unless You Want It To Be) (Deluxe)

This month, Grammy-nominated global superstar dropped the deluxe version of her comeback ninth studio album, It’s Not That Deep (Unless You Want It To Be), and we’re thankful every day for the Demi Lovato renaissance. The deluxe edition includes eight new tracks, including the sultry single ‘Low Rise Jeans’, along with features from Cobrah and Rose Gray.
