A string of Urbanscapes shows, the music of Billy Joel, and a reggae party make up a very exciting November

8 November (Thurs), Unlimited Grooves Festival Pre-Party by U Mobile [Urbanscapes] @ Chin Woo Stadium

It may be billed as the lead-up to the Unlimited Grooves Festival on Saturday, but with Canadian indie darlings Alvvays and local singer-songwriter Zee Avi set to perform, the pre-party is sure no lightweight. Your tickets for the main event automatically gain you entry to this party.

9 November (Fri), A Very Indie Showcase [Urbanscapes] @ The Bee, Publika

The line-up looks swell, so you can trust the night will be well. Catch Fazz, Nadir, Brendan de Cruz, Fabian Mark Peter and Billie Blue & The Nowhere Men as they churn out tunes that will tug at your heartstrings and have your feet tapping away all night long.

10 November (Sat), Unlimited Grooves Festival by U Mobile [Urbanscapes] @ Chin Woo Stadium

Time for the main event. Party all out on Friday with the likes of alt-rock band Wolf Alice, art rock unit Bodega, South Korean pop-rock trio Se So Neon, singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit, as well as Malaysian acts Midnight Fusic and Bil Musa!

10 November (Sat), The Frankie Sixes: A Night of Swing Jazz @ No Black Tie

Trust the Frankie Sixes to bring you a swinging good time, topped with the velvety vocals of Reza Salleh. Fresh off their gig at the Haeundae Jazz Festival in Busan, they'll take the stage at No Black Tie with a line-up of classic swing jazz tunes from the '40s and '50s.

23 & 24 November (Fri & Sat), Love Sucks by Sandra Mannas Wolf and Paul Micahel Baker @ Bobo KL

Starring established performer Sandra Mannas Wolf and the multi-talented British composer Paul Michael Baker, Love Sucks is a "hilarious, irreverent, politically-incorrect and naughty romp through the glorious (and not-so-glorious) aspects of love". The duo will be backed by award-winning musical director Loh Ui Li on the Bobo grand.

30 November (Fri), Reggae Party Volume 1 @ The Bee, Publika
