I’m going to just come out and say what’s on many of our minds: Chinese New Year music – or at least the ones they blare throughout every other mall, can get a tad overwhelming. I mean, it’s great to get into the festive mood and all that, but the constant clanging of gongs isn’t exactly the best background music when you want to sit down and catch up with your family members whom you haven’t seen since last year.
